QuickCal App Reviews
There’s a lot to like about QuickCal. While not as polished as Fantastical, it provides much of that program’s functionality at a fraction of the price. The natural langauge interface has generally worked quite well for me. But it is buggy — at least once a day I get the spinning prism. Sometimes it goes away and normal functionality resumes and sometimes it doesn’t. When that serious issue is fixed, I’d happily upgrade it from two starts to four or even five.
Doesn’t work with Outlook!

I’ve used this tool quite often, but it does not longer work on Yosemite. Also, the developers do not respond to provide any support so it seems to be dead. DO NOT BUY until they fixed these issues.
I use QuickCal on a daily basis to create events and reminders and I couldn’t be happier. Does exactly what I need it to do. I’ve never had any problems with parsing input, like some other users did. Highly recommended.
Good… simple and efficient. Better interface than Fantastical. Bad… some glitches and absolutely no support. The will ignore any contacts. Plus it seems that the App Store version is more buggy than the one you can download from their site and may be out of date. Beware.
