Unreliable
v 3.1.2:Parsing is still weak and unreliable. I entered an event starting a week from today and it tried to parse it as a week long event. On the other hand, iCal/Calendar parsed it perfectly. Im gonna uninstall Quickcal. And even when I select Last used calendar as the default, it adds events to a calendar I havent used in a year, and which isnt set to display in iCal.
v.2.5.1:Theyve fixed Google Calendar integration, which is a major upgrade, and which got me to actually use this on a regular basis. Unfortunately the language parsing is not so good. I just entered "2pm Friday student" and 1st it created an entry at 2pm on Friday with the title "Friday" (apparently losing the word "student" altogether - it doesnt appear in the entry. Tried again to see if it would catch the conflict & it created an entry at 2pm on Friday with the title "2pm". If you start with the description its fine, but if you start with the time it doesnt seem to parse correctly.
update: I noticed this morning on my home computer that QuickCal showed none of the four appointments that I had today. Now on my work computer - with the latest update - its having the same problem. Google Calendar integration doesnt seem to be working in practice :(
